Whenever we have occasion to celebrate, it’s natural (possibly even instinctual) to head to your favourite pub.

The Canford is the perfect place to host every occasion, be it an anniversary dinner in the conservatory or Birthday drinks in the garden tiki huts, with friends, family or colleagues our pub is the spot on for any type of toast-able occasion.

In addition to our perfect-for-a-pint pub (which is glorious for a Sunday roast too) we have more than a handful of fantastic bookable spaces – from bright and spacious, to cosy and intimate. We have the perfect event space in our beautiful pub for you to play host for your next ‘big thing.’

With 11 hotel bedrooms just above the pub, your guests can fall into bed, rest their weary heads and enjoy a beautifully cooked breakfast to set them back up in the morning.

Garden Rugby Party

We booked the 20 seat tiki hut in the garden to watch the rugby in the big screen in the hut. Sadly England didn’t win but the evening was just fab and everything lovely. The Canford staff are just great and the garden such a great place to meet friends and have fun. Friends also stayed in the hotel and have all raves about it.

5* Garden Gathering

We had a gathering of 24 family and friends on Saturday night and were advised that the Tiki hut would suit us. It had heaters, two beautiful round tables and just looked perfect. We did not feel rushed or stressed – honestly probably one of the best dining experiences I have had with a large group. I cannot recommend The Canford highly enough, especially if you have a large party to entertain. The smaller Tiki hits looked really romantic too for a more low key dinner or date. This is a real find in Bournemouth, I cannot recommend it highly enough.
